Bio: My name is Nicquelsia but was given the name Ginger Li/ Amázon by friends and family. I come from a very diverse background. My father is Irish, Ethiopian and Puerto Rican and my mother is Japanese, Native American, Black and Irish. I was born and raised a SoCal girl. My family moved to Salt Lake when I was 12 I lived there for 5 yrs then we moved to Oklahoma City where my grandmother has bought a home. From a very early age I have always been into fashion and modeling.

How old were you when you decided to become a model? 9

What is your goal as a model? I would love to make cover of hot magazines or at the least centerfold, host my own successful website and whatever else modeling shall bring me.

So far what has been the highlight of your modeling career? Working with such talented people as well as the knowledge gained of this industry that has made me a lot stronger and pursuant of my own vision.

Any horror stories about modeling you want to share? Wow, there’s so many.

Any Advice you want to share with inspiring models you want to share? I must say get knowledge of this business before jumping in head first. Be confident, believe in yourself and don’t take everything for face value do your research.

When did you shoot with Okie Studios? 4/14/08, 6/7/10

Tell us about your experience working with Bill Richards from Okie Studios? He has to be the most professional photographer I’ve worked with. I felt very comfortable around him from the beginning.  He’s very creative and dedicated to his work which allowed me to be myself and have fun. Great guy, awesome photographer.
